I grew up in Arlington, TX as a member of First United Methodist Church and began my organ studies at the age of 14. In high school, I discerned my call to music ministry and went to Texas Christian University to study Church Music. While at TCU, I also played piccolo with the Wind Symphony at Carnegie Hall and with the Marching Band in the Rose Bowl.
Shortly after I graduated, I began playing daily chapel services at St. Vincent’s School while serving in the music ministry my home church. This past year was my first year as Music Director and Organist at the Cathedral, and I am excited what the future has in store for the music ministry at St. Vincent’s.
I have recently earned my Masters of Sacred Music at Southern Methodist University, where I studied with Stefan Engels and Dr. Christopher Anderson and I am also active in both the Fort Worth and Dallas chapters of the American Guild of Organists.
