Children's Ministry
Sunday School, Children's Chapel, Vacation Bible School, and so much more!
Sunday School:
Sunday School for kids age four through fifth grade takes place each Sunday morning at 9:30 am in the South Hall. Sunday School is so important for our kids! It gives them an opportunity to learn Biblical truth in an age appropriate and sequential way. Plus they will have a chance to make friends and have fun!

Children's Chapel:
During our worship service, children have an opportunity to attend Children’s Chapel in a special chapel room just for them. They leave after the Gospel reading and return before Communion. They participate in prayer and a lesson based on the readings for the day.
Children's Message:
The second Sunday of each month is when our Cathedral Kids have a special sermon just for them. They go down to the front and sit with Dean Polley for a short lesson that is enjoyed by all, even the grown-ups.
Sacramental Preparation:
First Communion classes are held each spring and fall for children that are at least 5-years-old and in kindergarten. Additionally, confirmation classes for middle school students begin each fall.
Vacation Bible School:
Vacation Bible School is held each year during the summer months. VBS is held in the evening for 4 nights. We have dinner together and then spend a fun evening of Bible lessons, crafts, recreation, and music.
Annual Events and Traditions:
We love to celebrate together and Cathedral Kids like to have fun, so we like to make sure they do!
